The mexicano agave is a genetic relative of espadin and grows to be large. It is harvested at approximately 10 years old. This bottling is 100% wild harvested mexicano agave found in Oaxaca. This mezcal intensely herbal with notes of oregano and black pepper, along with notes of cinnamon. There is also an underlying sweetness of fruit like melon and stone fruit.
