Known for being a prominent element in blended malts, the GlenAllachie name was rarely seen bottled as a single malt. Now independently owned and run by master distiller Billy Walker, this newly released Speyside whiskey is ready to shine in a solo act. Starting out in Virgin oak barrels, the whiskey is moved to first fill bourbon, Oloroso, and PX sherry barrels before being bottled at 46%.
